A walk of approximately 1 km around the village centre which will take around 45 minutes to complete.

The park has designated walking trails, woodland, rolling hills, a cafe, formal play areas with swings and slides.

Clophill Lakes is a nature reserve developed on the site of former gravel pits. Over time, the flooded pits have created a series of lakes and wetlands that now provide a rich and varied habitat for wildlife. 

This is a circular walk which begins at the end of Church Road, Barton. Take a look at the video, below, and see how you begin with the horse paddock to your right, and then pass through a gate to start the hill climb.

Rushmere Country Park is 400 acres of woodland, heathland and meadows. The main impression you'll most likely come away with is of a heavily wooded area that breaks out into some quite large grassy areas here and there.
